The Poolside Apartments are careful conversions of original Jersey granite farm outbuildings that are steeped in historic legend.

The original building dates back to 1851 however,  in centuries preceding this there was a regiment of Scotish soldiers garrisoned on the very site and led by Captain Pierson,  they gallantly defeated the invading French troops in the battle of Jersey.

During the Second World War the occupying German forces were reputed to have utilised this fine old building. Today we offer the ambience of times gone by in the comfort of the 21st century, with a lovely open plan lounge,  dining and kitchen area where we have exposed the original roof beams, preserved the wooden floors and retained a whole host of original and delightful features, as well as adding a few of our own.

Directly opposite are more modern duplex apartments that incorporate a juliet terrace and are more spacious,  particularly in the lounge.
